Entrant 8: Kayla (Michael McCure) Denali(DAM)/Tumble(SIRE) Litter
Kayla is a very intelligent, loving, and energetic dog and never misses a thing. It is amazing what she will
notice and how inquisitive she is about her surroundings. Things the other dogs miss or are not interested
in she will closely examine (lick, paw at, pick up, etc). She will even watch the airplanes flying
overhead (we live adjacent to Eglin AFB).
When we sit outside with her she insists on being the center of attention. If the other dogs are being petted
she will nudge them out of the way and place herself in between you and the other dogs. If they won't move
she will begin to nibble on their ears or forelegs to get them to move over. She also loves to chew.... [more]
Entrant 3: Owen (Deanna Lates) Tasha(DAM)/Tumble(SIRE) Litter
I was fifteen when I decided I was going to get a Tamaskan puppy, I just had to convince
my father; easier said than done. It took thirteen months and a lot of begging for my dad
to finally come to a compromise, and boy was I excited. All I had to do was get a job and pay
for the down payment, and he would pay the rest as a birthday present. I got a job at the arcade
down the street and it was awful. I hated that job for numerous reasons, but I went through it
until I reached my goal of $400. I quit the day before my birthday and I rushed home to
RightPuppyKennel.com.
It is tough to admit, but Owen was not my "love-at-first-sight" choice. I had my eye on puppy #5,
however, he was bought before I could lay down my deposit. Owen is my "green puppy #2."
In fact, just about everything I buy him is green because of it: his leashes, collars, beds, and

Entrant 14: Kodiak (Kymberly Powley) Tundra(DAM)/Tumble(SIRE) Litter
I have always loved wolves my entire life. My daughter, Chelsey and I were looking for a dog that resembled a wolf.
We've considered a hybrid, but after reading what Pennsylvania required to have one, we decided against it.
Chelsey was surfing the net and came across RightPuppy Kennel, Home of the Tamaskan, and we both instantly fell in love with
the breed. I read through your site, did some research and everything seemed perfect for us, so I sent my deposit and we
patiently waited.
When Kodiak was born, we were like two proud parents of a newborn baby. Chelsey was counting down the days to when we could
bring him home. When the time finally arrived, We chose to drive down so we could see how the other Tamaskans interacted with us.
Well...they acted like we were part of their pack and greeted us with wagging tails. Next thing we knew, out came a little fur
ball, full of spunk. We scooped him up and he just kept licking us. My parents came along for the ride, they weren't too sure
about traveling seven hours with a nine week old puppy. To our surprise, Kodiak got in the car, left out a little howl, and
slept the whole way home (besides the occasional potty stop). ...[more]
